WHO WE CAN SUPPORT
We provide support for women over the age of 16 who have experienced domestic violence and abuse from partners, ex-partners or family members.
HOW WE CAN HELP
We offer emotional and practical support as well as advice and advocacy. We work in partnership with other agencies to provide the best outcome possible in your circumstances.
We provide accommodation in Refuge for up to 7 families.
We provide Resettlement support for families leaving the Refuge.
We provide Outreach Support for women who live in the Newark & Sherwood area.
We provide support to access Pet Fostering

- school admissions
- registering with GP
- assistance with setting up and maintaining a tenancy
- information on housing rights and responsibilities
- information and support on welfare benefits, including grants and loans
- assistance in accessing legal advice and support with court appearances
- advice with skills development, including budgeting, bill payment, shopping, cooking and personal management
- assistance in developing skills to gain employment either paid or unpaid
- advice on training and opportunities to access further education
- assistance with establishing personal safety and security
- assistance with signposting to cultural community and social groups or facilities
- assistance with accessing other specialist services, including GP's, Health Visitors, Social Services
- assistance with accessing alternative accommodation for women who choose to leave their abusive partner
HOW TO MAKE A REFERRAL TO ANY OF OUR SERVICES
We can accept self-referrals or you can be referred by any person or agency.
We will complete a referral form with you or your referring agency, and you will need to provide us with information about your current and former situation.
If we are not able to accommodate you, we aim to provide you with information and details of another more suitable service.
